South Island Panoramas III: Wellington - Picton by Ferry (with 645 Pro for iPhone 4S)

Crossing the Cook Strait on the Interislander (Okay, admittedly, I've got things a little out of order as far as chronology goes - obviously I took the ferry to the South Island BEFORE shooting the images I've posted already; but, that's just how it is I'm afraid.)

The main thing about the image above is just that I really did try to get the horizon level out the window.  This is pretty much the angle of the ship as we crossed to the South Island - it didn't really straighten up until we entered the Marlborough Sounds...

Why I Love New Zealand Roads #1

Another photographer / MX-5 owner recently introduced me to the concept of Miatatherapy - basically, taking the car for a long drive as a mood-altering substance.  He is very wise.  (Thanks, Mike!)
