Four different shows today - first up is Super Vision, with Harry Sinclair from the Front Lawn.  To be honest, when I heard he was in Wellington doing a show at the same time Don McGlashan was playing at the Festival Club, I kinda hoped...well, you know.  Never happened, though!

In 2010, we had a visiting Swedish band, Irya's Playground, with the circus show Inside Out, so I popped along for a quick media call between other things; I don't know what I was expecting, but I got a lot more feathers than that!  They also did a show at the Festival Club that year, but I had to miss it to shoot something else as I recall.  (That happens a lot!)  I'm pretty sure they sold out their stock of CDs very quickly, though - I remember they were very pleased and impressed with the enthusiastic response they got.

And more recently, in 2012 I was on the run between dress rehearsals for the dance & magic piece Masi at Te Papa, and the stage adaptation of Patricia Grace's novel Tu at Pipitea Marae.  It was great to see Masi continue on and even visit Sydney the following year for the festival here, in a reworked and leaner form.  Hope it keeps travelling!
