This has always been one of my favourite places in the country, but for some reason I'd never climbed the giant rock at Castlepoint in the Wairarapa until last year, when I wisely took just a small light camera - the Fuji X100 - with me on the ascent!  It's...steep.  (But worth it!)

Folks who followed me over here from my Tumblr page might remember this version of the same view, taken on my iPhone at the time.  Hopefully the expensive camera version is better!
