As I mentioned yesterday, Kneehigh Theatre are one of my Festival favourites - and a company I'm always happy to see when I get a chance in other cities, too.  From Tristan & Yseault to Brief Encounter and The Wild Bride, every show I've seen has a wonderful warmth to it - so it was great to have them back in Wellington in 2012, their second visit from their home in Cornwall.

Because this was a rehearsal I was photographing, and the afternoon before their opening night, they weren't using all the physical effects from the show - there wouldn't be time to clean the costumes before opening to an audience - so of course, there was only so much of the show I could capture on this occasion.  That's sometimes how it goes, but that's okay - usually we wouldn't want to give away too much of it anyway!

I've posted a few 2010 preparation images at the beginning here, too - from setup for The Sound Of Silence at TSB Arena, and at the St James Theatre for Sutra - but more on them later, I'm sure!
