This just in - literally! (And…literarily?) Got an email out of the blue a couple of months ago from Fergus Barrowman, who (as it turns out) reads this blog, and saw one of my iPhone 4 / Plastic Bullet images that he thought might suit a book project he was working on for Victoria University Press - couple of emails later, guess what was in my PO Box this morning? It’s especially nice because one of our dearest friends is author Vincent O’Sullivan’s god-daughter; but besides that little connection, I have to give great thanks to Fergus for being lovely to deal with, looking after all the things a photographer would normally be concerned with - appropriate credit, print quality, sending a .pdf proof to check my name is spelled correctly (it usually sheds a T) - and sending me two copies of the book promptly when it came out. A joy to work with, from start to finish. No better way to improve a wet & windy Wellington winter’s day! Here’s more info on the book - no doubt soon to be found in all good bookstores and libraries, if it’s not there already!
