I quite like this one, even though I did everything just about wrong: shooting from the hip without looking through the camera, preset for something else I’d been shooting before that, while walking so there’s a bit of blur, and the old classic of leaving the camera in Manual Focus mode after the last shoot, and not even checking on my way out the door.

Still, I like it.  I like that the dog is having to choose between them, and isn’t quite sure which way he’s going to go.  (For the record, she got the dog, but he got the daughter who’s just out of frame.  Not that I know anything about these people at all!)

And I really like late afternoon winter sun in Wellington.
