Just saw the list of nominations for this year's Sydney Theatre Awards, and nice to see Belvoir Theatre's Angels In America included for a number of them:

DeObia Oparei and Amber McMahon in Angels In America Part 1: Millennium Approaches

- Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Mainstage Production (Amber McMahon, as Harper Pitt)

Marcus Graham in Angels In America Part 1: Millennium Approaches

- Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Mainstage Production (Marcus Graham, as Roy Cohn)

Luke Mullins in Angels In America Part 1: Millennium Approaches

- Best Stage Design in a Mainstage Production (Michael Hankin)

To be honest, I'm surprised not to see more of the cast in the list - it really was an amazing company - but I guess that's an indication of how good this year has been in Sydney theatre!  (I'm seeing Waiting for Godot tonight, which has a lot of nominations as well...)
