Les Parapluies de Surry Hills
This was initially just going to be a single photo on Instagram, then maybe a couple, then maybe a hashtag, and now it's a gallery...there's a storm in Sydney today, but having moved here from Wellington this just seems like another (summer) day, to me!
The main difference being that 100km/h winds happen there 50 times a year, on average, so all the weaker tree branches have a regular opportunity to fall, where here they might only get tested every few years - so when we do have a storm, it's messy.
Needless to say, nobody in Wellington owns an umbrella.
